From September 20 to 26, Liu Gang, Vice President of Shanghai University of Political Science and Law (hereinafter, SHUPL) , led a delegation to the University of Murcia in Spain and the University of Macerata in Italy to conduct in-depth exchanges on establishing and deepening inter-university exchanges and cooperation, carrying out long-term and short-term exchange programs for students, academic visits by teachers and joint scientific research. Peng Wenhua, Dean of the School of Criminal Justice, Sun Jian, Deputy Dean of the Shanghai Documentary Academy, Zhou Yi, Deputy Head of the Student Affairs Department, accompanied Liu.
At the University of Murcia in Spain, Liu Gang held talks with Mr. Pascual Cantos Gomez, Deputy Director of the International Department of the University of Murcia. The two sides reviewed the relevant development of inter-school exchanges over the past five years. Liu Gang brifely introduced the development and characteristics of SHUPL in recent years. He noted that, SHUPL attaches great importance to carrying out all-round, multi-level and wide-ranging international exchanges and cooperation. He wished to further strengthen exchanges with the University of Murcia, give full play to their respective professional advantages, promote dialogue between the two universities in cultural exchanges, personnel training, scientific research cooperation and other aspects, and achieve more fruitful cooperation results. The two sides also discussed the details of the cooperation.
